matchbook milled top

Conference Room Tables

In effort to acknowledge our cast iron industrial building, I went with contracting Robert Ogden, a millwork artist out of Philadelphia that I met at a trade fair earlier this year. He does amazing things with milled wood tops and found cast iron legs. Here are a few pics showing 'match book' tops that really exemplify the look of our conference room tables and lunch tables. Of course expect the lunch tables to be paired with brightly colored 'beach' inspired chairs.

Heart of Glass at Chelsea Frames

So, there I was at Chelsea Frames going over Lime Wire's awesome new art collection, when in walked Debbie Harry (no big whup - ack! Blondie!). We are working on electrical already!

Shocking. (ba dum cha!) After much (endless) discussion we will have outlets and more outlets and a few more outlets too. Kiss those power strips good bye. The J boxes for the task lights are going in as well. So it goes.

The bathroom pipes are starting to appear as we have determined how the water risers will permeate each floor and of course how they serve our neighbors American Apparel downstairs.

AT WORK!

5th floor - In this picture you can see a barrel ceiling entrance being constructed to the right and to the left Francesco Mo, the structural engineer is going over roof plans. The roof is quite an undertaking, and will most likely not be completed when we move in. It will however be done in time for Spring! I have been working on designing permanent outdoor booth style seating along the edge of the roof - the U shaped seating is built into planters, so you can to smell the roses (or Broadway) while you eat lunch! I am really excited about the look of our modest, but totally radical rooftop!
